PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes the construction of a 4800 square foot single-story masonry vehicle maintenance facility addition to an existing maintenance facility and construction of a 1400 square foot single-story masonry classroom and simulation addition to an existing masonry building. Both buildings include steel roof framing and metal roof decks. Roofing is built-up roofing. Interior finishes include metal stud and gypsum board partition walls, ceramic tile, acoustical lay-in ceilings, resilient flooring, and painting. The Simulation Room in the Classroom/Simulation Building includes a 12-inch high computer access floor. Buildings have hollow metal doors and frames and the Vehicle Maintenance Facility has roll-up doors. Buildings include mechanical ventilation, heating, and plumbing. The classroom simulation addition includes two air conditioning units. Both buildings are fully fire sprinkled. Work includes electrical power, including 400 hertz power and lighting and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is $500,000 and $1,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 365 calendar days. -- This proposed contract will be unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1541 and the annual size standard is $17 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
