labor, material and equipment necessary to perform dockside repairs and
vessel maintenance including but not limited to the following minimum
items: (1) renew bulkhead plating, (2) renew plating on bridge, (3)
relocate ships bell, (4) renew watertight doors, (5) install remote
controlled bow thruster emergency shutdown, (6) overhaul #3 auxiliary
generator, (7) renew and relocate shore tie receptacle, (8) remove
sounding tube plug, (9) modify refrigeration space supply and exhaust
ducting, (10) overhaul, renew and test valves, (11) inspect, overhaul,
test weight handling equipment, (12) renew chain stoppers, (13)
inspect, overhaul, test roller chocks, (14) overhaul and test mcb
davit, (15) renew top of sewage tank, (16) install and test pad eye and
link, (17) renew joiner bulkhead panels & sink, (18) clean and inspect
vacuum tank, (19) clean and inspect grey water collection tank
A-302-Q, (20) renew deck drains and piping, (21) temporary logistics,
(22) renew radar pedestal, (23) renew and preserve antenna foundation,
(24) group and preserve mast cable. Indefinite items include but are
not limited to the following: (1) welding repair, (2) provide temporary
messing, (3) temporary berthing, (4) ultrasonic testing. Vessel
homeport is Cape May, NJ. Vessel length is 180 feet. Vessel
availability schedule is 11 March 1996 for 35 days. All reference

There will be a non-refundable charge required in the form of a
certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. States Coast
Guard in the amount of $100.00 for requested drawings and publications.
The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specification will be
issued on or about 26 Dec 1995. All responsible sources may submit a
bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. For

Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at

receivable financing. The DOT Bonding assistance program enables firms
to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per
contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a
