H -- COMPOSITE CRASH TESTING FOR NEW CAR ASSESSMENT PROGRAM AND INDICANT TESTING SOL DTNH22-96-R-02010 DUE 020996 POC Joseph Comella, Contract Specialist, (202) 366-9568, FAX (202- 366-9555) This requirement is to obtain the necessary personnel, facilities, materials, equipment and services to perform Composite Crash Testing for New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) and Indicant Testing to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Nos. 212, 219(partial), and 301. Offerors must have the necessary testing facilities, materials and equipment capable of meeting the testing requirements as specified by the Solicitation and FMVSS Nos. 212, 219, and 301. The Government may require a demonstration test at the Offeror's expense prior to Contract Award using the test facility, materials, personnel and equipment that the offeror proposes to use in the performance of the Contract. No subcontracting will be permitted. Manufacturers of vehicles and/of components to be tested are not eligible for award of this requirement. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery type contract. A period of performance for twelve (12) months with options for three (3) additional one-year periods is contemplated. The Government reserves the right to make Multiple Awards.
