This is a sources sought synopsis for information management, storage and retrieval services located at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal near Denver, CO. The Program Manager for RMA is performing long-term environmental restoration. RMA is seeking interest and capabilities of small business firms for a procurement for information storage and retrieval activities in support of the administrative record. The contractor shall perform the following functions: maintain existing administrative records and other forms of documentation; assist and advise in overall records management activities; organize, maintain and duplicate records through the use of microfiche, microfilm, automated data processing techniques, optical disk, or other photo or electronic reproduction; create and maintain automated systems supporting the administrative record and other records management activities; document manual and automated procedures and systems, establish quality assurance procedures and quality control reviews. Work will be performed in government furnished facilities on the Arsenal and the Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, services and material to perform the functions of the contract except as specifically provided in the contract as government furnished property, equipment or supplies. This contract shall be for a base period with four (4) one-year option periods. Target date for contract award is September 1996. All Small Business firms are invited to submit a brief capabilities statement no later than 28 Dec 95. If sufficient interest is received from capable small businesses, the solicitation may be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. This announcement is not a request for proposal.
