The Office for Prevention and Health Services Assessment (OPHSA) seeks industry information on an ''off-the-shelf'' manual that is used to implement evidenced-based clinical practice guidelines at the local level. The manual will cover step-by-step instructions for clinicians to develop local guidelines from evidenced-based guidelines currently in existence (from professional medical organizations, etc.). The manual will cover strategies for gaining acceptance and ''buy-in'' by clinician for new guidelines. It will articulate the criteria by which locally developed and implemented guidelines can be evaluated. The purpose of the manual will be to develop guidelines that can positively influence health care outcomes and cost containment. The manual must have been published within the last three (3) years.
