The salient characteristics of the machine is as follows: welded steel frame with 1-/4'' thick side plates, heavy throat plate, and deep ribbing, minimun deflection (gapping). Table and ram plates held parallel within .003'' per foot. RAM travel square to table within .001'' in any 4'' section of stoke. Bed bolster plate gound steel: 4'' thick, removable for machining. Bed bolster plate supported by deep welded in ribs. Plain bed bolster plate blind bolted to frame from below. Clear area 24 X 3 behind table. Single ram link guides the ram throughout the stroke. Prevents ram rotation. Compact tool mounting plate attached to ram end. See HCA catalog pages 6&7 for this standard tool mount and other options. Other features include: open gap press, C-frame, 100-tons, overall height 24''; motor horse speed 1800 rpms (30); weight 15,000 lbs.; will be provided in the solicitation.
