T -- ELECTRONIC MEDIA PRODUCTION SERVICES-OPTICAL DISC MASTERING AND REPLICATION CONTRACT SOL 52SBNB6C9038 DUE 012096 POC Sandra Febach (301) 975-6326 The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) has a requirement for an Optical Disc Mastering and Replication contract. Work requirements will include mastering and replicating CD-ROM, CD-I, CD-Audio, CD-HD, Photo CD, and Laser Discs. Task overview: (1) test incoming electronic data for errors; (2) perform mastering and replication of electronic data and software files stored in a variety of formats, into optical media; (3) verify data recorded on each optical media mastered; (4) design, print or reproduce Government specified labels, booklets, pamphlets, etc.; and (5) package and distribute to designated locations. Specifications to be included with the Request for Proposals (RFP). It is our intent to make multiple awards of Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA). Awards will be made for a Base period of 12 months, with four 1-year option periods. Competitive RFQs/RFPS for specific work assignments will be issued to all holders of the BOA, and individual awards for each contract under the BOA will be based on past performance and price competition among BOA holders. Approximately 40 firm-fixed price orders, with estimated values from $1,000.00 to $500,000.00 per order, will be issued each contract period. Required delivery for each order will be within three (3) to sixty (60) workdays. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency.
