The U.S. Postal Service Engineering Center in Merrifield, VA will release a solicitation on or about 12/1/95 for the manufacture and delivery of Fixed Mechanization Process Control Systems (FMPCS) to be installed by USPS in approximately 20 Bulk Mail Centers (BMCs), one laboratory site at Merrifield Va, and one at the USPS Technical Training Center (TCC) in Norman, OK. The Contractor will be required to manufacture, package, label and deliver spare parts kits to all sites and to provide depot spares kits to the USPS National Inventory Control Center (NICC) in Topeka, KS. The contractor will be required to provide available commercial documentation and data to support the USPS maintenance manual development, and training requirements as outlined in the Statement of Work which will be part of the solicitation.
