Contract Specialist, 407-867-7356, OP-OSO-A. The John F. Kennedy Space
Center requires a radome for a 28 foot tracking antenna. The antenna
is located at Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA. The radius of rotation is
approximately 17 feet. The center of rotation sets on top of an
existing newly refurbished 27 foot pedestal.. The installation of the
radome is projected to occur around March 1996. The contractor shall
supply all labor and materials related to the installation of the
radome. The contractor shall comply with all Federal, California and
local environmental regulations. Acceptance is based on the operation
of the antenna without physical interference between the radome and the
antenna and without signal degradation of greater than 0.5dB. The
antenna operates in two frequency bands: 1695 to 1710 MHz and 2.2 to
2.4 GHz. All responsible sources may submit a written response to the
notice for consideration by the Agency. The response should include
technical data, radome options, a description of the technical
qualifications and experience of the responder. This is NOT a request
