Notified under Article 2.9.2, 2.10.1, other: Owing to the high level of malnutrition found in the majority of the population, especially children, it has been considered necessary and urgent to fortify wheat with thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, reduced iron and folic acid, as a large-scale and economical means of reaching the population at large. 4.
