The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform complete improvements including clearing and grubbing, deep dynamic compaction (DDC), mass fill and grading, excavation, backfill, surface water control, demolition, and security fencing. The work is to be performed adjacent to the South Bay International Wastewater Treatment Plant site, which is located in San Diego County, California. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. The estimated range of construction is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Tentative dates for issuing and opening IFB 96-03 are December 15, 1995 and January 15, 1996, respectively. Contract performance is scheduled at 119 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Plans will be available for inspection at the International Boundary and Water Commission, U.S. Section, The Commons, Bldg. C, Suite 311, El Paso, TX 79902. Copies of the bid package are available at no charge. All requests for bid documents must be made in writing; no telephone requests will be accepted.
