Requirements are 1,111 EA handle.5345-01-275-5395, part number
12598183. Requirements are 17,123 eastone, Sharp. For use on the M9
bayonet/scabbard. FOB is destination. Proposed contract is a 100
percent small business setaside. MIL-I-45208 inspection criteria
required. First article test is re-quired. Statistical process control
is required. Heavy phosphate coating DOD-P-16232. All or part of this
action is an unfunded FY96 requirement. Estimated issue date of this
Solicitation is 121495. The Government anticipates a 5 year
requirements contract. The quan-tities stated above are the maximum
projected quantities to be pro cured over the 5 year period. Bidders
are hereby notified of the following requirement: In order to receive
the Solicitation and technical data package, all bidders are required
to execute anondisclosure agreement binding each bidder to the terms
and condi tions of the agreement. Copies of the nondisclosure agreement
shall be requested from ACALA, Attn: AMSTA-AC-pcx-E/MS. Cean Hartleben,
Rock Island, IL 61299-7630. The nondisclosure agreement must be signed
by an official authorized to legally bind the Company. Upon execution
of the nondisclosure agreement, return an original copy, certified
mail to the above adress. The nondisclosure agreement will be available
prior to the issuance of the soliciation. Bidders are encouraged to
request, complete, and return the agreement as soon aspossible.
Effective 1 Oct 94 AMCCOM separated into two new commands, the
Industrial Operation Command (IOC) and the Acquisition Chemical
Armament Logistics Activity (ACALA). It is imperative that special
attention be Given when addressing requests for solicitations
andbids/offers. Failure to properly address requests for solicitations
in accordance with this CBD notice will result in non-receipt of the
Solicitation package. Failure to properly address BIDS/offers in
AC-cordance with Solicitation instructions may result in a late bid
which cannot be considered. Written, FAX or electronic requests for
Solicitation are accepted. NO telephone requests will be honored.
Requests for copies of this Solicitation should include you commer-cial
and Government Entity (CAGE) (if a CAGE Code has been assigned to you)
along with your name, address, datafax number, and solic itation
number. The FAX number for requests is (309) 782-4728. Electronic
requests may be accepted through the AMCCOM Acquisition Information
System (AAIS). All AMCCOM solicitations are available for
viewing/downloading, in addition to procurement history, via theaais.
The AAIS can be accessed electronically, 24 hours a Day, util izing a
MODEM set to dial (309) 782-7648. Terminal emulation should be VT100,
NO parity, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit. Once connected, EN-ter ''AAIS''
at the ''login'' prompt. At the ''password'' prompt depress the
''enter'' key. If electronic means is not possible, procurement history
will be provided telephonically at (309) 782-8094 on a Lim-ited basis.
