R -- OPERATION OF FORSCOM CENTRALIZED SALT WATER TRAINING SITE, FORT STOREY, VIRGINIA SOL DAKF11-96-R-0005 DUE 011596 POC Contract Specialist DIANE T. BIDDY (404) 752-4113 (Site Code DAKF11) Contractor shall train Water Purification Teams, Crews, Platoons or Detachments in the hands-on training for the installation/setup, operation, maintenance, element cleaning, disassembly and storage of the major components associated with the 3000 Gallon Per Hour Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (3K ROWPU) on a salt water source. The contractor is also required to perform operator and organizational maintenance on the training site equipment. The contractor will assist representatives of DOL/CMO in maintaining the equipment used for training and to maintain information about the equipment. The work described is for year around support. All training documents, i.e. manuals, etc, will be available at the FORSCOM Salt Water Purification Training Site (FCSWPTS) for review. The contract will be a requirements type with a base and four option years. This requirement is fixed price unrestricted therefore all responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the agency. Requests for packages must be in writing.
