The equipment shall consist of nine 48VDC fans providing an output of 900 CFM minimum with a power converter permitting operation with a 120-VAC 60Hz power input and a washable wire mesh filter removable from the front. The unit shall have high capacity, positive pressure, forced air cooling with air flow intake at the bottom and exhaust at the top. The internal components shall be well secured and electrically insulated to prevent damage due to shock and vibration. The equipment's fan shall consist of 3 individual fan trays containing 3 fans each with the capability of individual replacement. The fan tray unit shall have a fan failure test which will test each fan and provide an individual LED alarm indication at the front panel. A remote fan fail indication output will be provided by a latching relay with open contacts for any single fan failure. The fan tray shall be connected to the power converter via a blind mate connector so the tray can be removed without disconnecting the AC input. The front panel shall have a green power indicator and shall be painted with Fed Std 595B color chip 26307. The dimensions of the fan tray shall be 1 5/8'' High, 18 7/3'' Deep and 16 1/8'' Wide.
