Contract will be Contractor Furnished Material (CFM) and award will be based on offer which provides the best value to the Government. The following line items, all applicable to the TF39 Engine, will be included: Item 0001, NSN 2840-01-332-3437PS, Stage 1 LPT Shroud, P/N 9395M88G01, with various substitute NSNs and P/Ns, BEQ of 2574 each; Item 0002, NSN 2840-01-334-9224PS, Stage 2 LPT Shroud, P/N 9395M88G02, with various substitute NSNs and P/Ns, BEQ of 2870 each; Item 0003, NSN 2840-01- 332-3438PS, Stage 3 LPT Shroud, P/N 9395M88G03, with various substitute NSNs and P/Ns, BEQ of 3695 each; Item 0004, NSN 2840-01-334-9225PS, Stage 4 LPT Shroud, P/N 9395M89G01, with various substitute NSNs and P/Ns, BEQ of 3911 each; Item 0005, NSN 2840-01-024-5877PS, Stage 5 LPT Shroud, P/N 9663M69G16, with various substitute NSNs and P/Ns, BEQ of 2889 each; Item 0006, NSN 2840-01-024-5878PS, Stage 6 LPT Shroud, P/N 9663M70G05, with various substitute NSNs and P/Ns, BEQ of 1843 each. Sizes as follows, Stages 1-3, width, 2 3/4 inches, length, 4 in, thick, 1/2 inch; Stage 4, width 3 inches, length 4 1/2 inches, thick 1/2 inch; Stages 5-6, width 3 1/4 inch, length 4 1/2 inches, thick 1/2 inch. Functions: Installed in the Low Pressure Turbine Stator Case. The shrouds have honeycombed sealing surfaces that are over the shrouded LPT Blade tips. This provides close clearance seals and acts as heat shields to reduce the casing wall temperature for better stress margin. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The requirements of FAR 9.202(A) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001 Government furnished drawings and specifications are available. The approximate issue/response date wil be 05 Dec 95. If an offer is not received from a BRC and none of the participating offerors is designated as a BRC prior to contract award, award will be made to the offeror who meets the minimum requirements of the solicitation, offers the lowest evaluated price and is determined to be responsible.
