specifications are for a commercial grade VME based PowerPC 601 CPU
board, and a Graphics board which together are fully capable of running
the LynxOS with Xwindows capability, for development. Also, the LynxOS
and LynxOS development systems and any necessary software required for
the Graphics board will also be included. CPU board: (1) a PowerPC601
@ 66MHz or greater. (2) at least 64M DRAM, 4M Flash EPROM, and a Boot
EEPROM. (3) a Cypress VIC64/68 VME bus controller chip for use and
compatibility (i.e. VME64 block mode transfers, etc.) with a Mizar VME
based DSP board. (4) at least (2) RS-423 serial ports. (5) an Ethernet
port. (6) a SCSI/SCSI2 port. (7) Must be compatible with and run the
LynxOS real-time OS with C development tools for self-hosted and Sun
Sparcstation development work. (8) Must be able to provide software
updates/support for the LynxOS and must be able to provide a conduction
cooled version by Fall of 1996. Graphics Board (1) Must contain a
TMS34020 Graphics Processor, and a TLC34076 Palette RAM, at least 2M
VRAM, 0.5M Flash EPROM, and 64k EEPROM, must use a Cypress VIC64/68 VME
bus controller chip for use and compatibility (i.e. VME64 block mode
transfers, etc.) with a Mizar VME based DSP board. (3) at least two
RS-232 serial ports, and must provide RS-343A Analog RGB outputs. (4)
Must be compatible with and run the LynxOS real-time OS with Xwindow
compatibility through hardware/software, and must be able to provide
software updates/support for any necessary software required for the
Xwindow compatibility. (8) Must be able to provide a conduction cooled
version by Fall of 1996. Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio 44135. Delivery
schedule is 90 calendar days after contract award. This notice is for
information only. Justification to permit contracting with Radstone
Technology Corporation has been prepared using citation 10 USC
2304(c)(1) as its authority. This procurement is a 100 percent
set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be
considered. Effective October 1, 1995, the Internet will be the only
