Property Management (PM), is seeking sources for software products and
services to support the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and
the Federal Employees Compensation Act of 1916. GSA has responsibility
for maintaining and reporting on injuries and illnesses related to the
cited acts that occur in its locations. Products built on SQL databases
will be considered. PM currently uses ORACLE RDBMS and MS-Access as
corporate standards. A local area network based application is the
intended environment including data sharing across a national WAN. The
current installed base is about 70% Novel and 30% MS-WindowsNT.
Products capable of supporting 30-40 users geographically dispersed
will be considered to replace existing mainframe based system which
assists management in monitoring occupational injuries and illnesses
and employee injury/occupation disease trends and track costs. A
commercial software product and supporting services are sought and we
