A -- DATA COORDINATING CENTER FOR CLINICAL AND EPIDEMIOLOGIC STUDIES IN INFECTIOUS DISEASES SOL NIH-NIAID-DMID-96-12 DUE 112795 POC Ann Davis Jaggar, Contract Specialist 301-496-6423. The Biometry Branch of the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (DMID) of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), NIH, has a requirement for a Contractor having the capabilities and facilities to operate a Data Coordinating Center for multiple multi-centered clinical trials involving infectious diseases. The objective of this NIAID sponsored project is to provide biostatistical and data management support for clinical trials or other studies of vaccines and other prophylactic or therapeutic agents. The Contractor shall work collaboratively with clinical investigators and with DMID in performing study design, study coordination, data collection and editing, interim and final data analyses, report generation and related activities. This proposed contract is a 100 percent SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this project is 7379. The size standard is 14.5 million. This NIAID project will take approximately five (5) years to complete. A completion type contract is anticipated. It is anticipated that one cost-reimbursement contract will be awarded for a period of five (5) years.
