Administration, Western-Pacific Region, has a requirement for external
data interface for an Runway Visual Range Information Display System.
This contract action is for supplies or services for which the
Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Systems Atlanta,
Inc., of Lebanon Georga, under the conditions of FAR 6.302-1, Only One
Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy
Agency Requirements and under the conditions of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual
and Compelling Urgency. The current Information Display System in place
is a Systems Atlanta IDS4 Workstation. All responsible sources may
submit a bid proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the
agency. See Note 22. This notice BELOW is for informational purposes
for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The
Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related
contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program
(STLP), at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximun line of credit is $500,000. For further
