JENE', (205)933-4492 The DVAMC, Birmingham, AL, requires the services of an A/E for the Project titled ''RENOVATE SURGERY CLINIC''. The following services are required: 1. The A/E shall provide professional technical service for the development of Design Development Documents. Design Development Documents typically include preliminary plans through 35%, working drawings, including schematics and cost estimates. The intent of this project is to totally renovate and upgrade the surgical clinic, by focusing on improving functionality and space deficiencies on both the 3c clinical unit and the 3b primary care unit. Work may include, but is not limited to architectural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and asbestos abatement. 2. The A/E shall prepare all documents for this project from interaction and planning with the VA Engineering Service and Acquisition & Material Management Service staff. The A/E shall meet with the DVAMC staff as required to accomplish the task described in the scope of work. The A/E shall make site surveys, verify as-built drawings, analyze existing utility systems as necessary, and complete any and all work necessary to furnish a complete Design Development in accordance with VA Handbook H-08-15, Volume C, ''Minimum Requirements for A/E Submissions'' for Minor and Minor Miscellaneous projects and scope of the referenced project. The construction cost range for this project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The area of consideration is restricted to within 200 mile radius of the DVAMC, Birmingham, AL.
