The project involves renovation of a 26,500 SF concrete frame with CMU
block walls and a built-up roof on steel joist. An approximately 3,400
SF frame addition will be demolished due to severe structural damage.
Renovations include a new built-up roof, replacement of electrical and
mechanical systems and new interior finishes throughout. The project
also includes some asbestos abatement. This Solicitation includes Bid
Options which may not be awarded. Critical Path Method (Network
Analysis System) is required. Bid documents are available on or about
20 November 1995. Costs are as follows: Plans half size $14.00.
Specifications $45.00. Estimated cost of work is between $1,000,000 and
$5,000,000. Requests for Plans and Specifications shall indicate in
writing whether firm will bid as a Prime contractor or a Subcontractor.
