Z -- DESIGN, FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION OF A STEAM EJECTOR SYSTEM SOL 1-073-GGK1.1222 DUE 121595 POC Bid Distribution Office, (804) 864-2547. The work to be performed is to design, fabricate, and install a steam ejector system connected to the vacuum system for the two 41 Foot Spheres and the 60 Foot Space Simulator. Furnish all plant, equipment, tools, materials, labor, and service necessary for, or incidental to, a complete and finished job as shown on the drawings listed below and as specified herein. The work it be performed includes, but is not limited to, the following: a) Provide a new steam ejector system with packaged controls. b) Furnish and install foundations, supports, shelters, and security fencing. c) Provide piping and valves for services (vacuum, steam, condensate, and service air) for operation of the steam ejector. d) Recertify existing steam line for increased pressure and temperature. e) Provide wiring and connections between the steam ejector system and the Control Room 138, Building 1251A. f) Finish paint new and existing surfaces. g) Provide and install control panel for control room. Contract duration 300 days. Estimated cost range between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Agency.
