Swift (804) 322-4135; Contracting Officer, Ms. Janice Spruill The Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, Virginia intends to acquire Operation, maintenance and repair of the desalinization/electrical generation plant, electrical distribution system, the water plant, water tanks, andwater distribution system at the U.S. Naval Base, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, management, administration, hand tools, power tools, pre-expended material, transportation, and office equipment toprovide, on a continuous basis the required services. This is a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity award fee type contract for a base period of one year with options to extend, total duration not to exceed sixty (60) months. The proposedsolicitation is unrestricted. Specifications will be available on or about 22 January 1996 on a first come, first serve basis. The cost for the first set of specifications is $25.00. The cost for the second set of specifications is $35.00. No morethan two sets of specifications will be provided to each requester. Specifications will not be forwarded until receipt by this command of a nonrefundable check or money order made out to Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk,Virginia. A pre-proposal conference is planned for February 1996 at the U.S. Naval Base, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
