J -- MISSION DATA PREPARATION SYSTEM SOL F42630-96-R-AAAAD POC For copy, Stephen Harris/Likt/(801)777-4205, For additional information contact Stephen Harris/Likt/(801)777-4205 The Air Force intends to establish a contract for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the B-1 and B-52 Mission Data Preparation System (MDPS). This system provides mission planning capabilities for the aircraft. This system consists of a Micro 5 Concurrent Computer Corp computer and peripheral equipment, monitors, printers, keyboards. The requirement will be for hardware maintenance only. The MDPS systems are located at eight (8) sites in the US. Deployment both within the US and outside the US will require support. The contract will be written for one (1) basic year and four (4) option years. This effort will begin 1 Oct 1996. It is unknown at this time if this will be set aside for small business only or if it will be full and open competition. If you are interested in this effort please respond with information concerning your company to include, but not limited to, the following: A. Size and brief history of your company. B. Prior government CLS or related type contracts. C. Prior CLS or related type contracts with other than the US Government. D. Management/organizational structure. E. Briefly describe your technical capability on CLS type contracts, touching on items such as logistics support, configuration management, maintenance, engineering, and overall program management.
