The project involves the replacement of Hot water lines and certain Cold water lines and remove all insulation (including some asbestos) on all pipes identified by specifications and drawings in building 1 and 2. Work includes wall and ceiling demolition and repairs. All water pipes installed are to be copper tubing or pipe unless otherwise specified by the Veterans Adminsitration. All pipes are to be insulated per VA regulations and specifications. Construction cost range $500,000 to 1 million. Interested firms should submit SF 254 and 255 NTL close of business 12-4-95.
