Contract shall be for the development of 100% design, specifications and cost estimate. Firms must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of high voltage switchgear and electrical distribution systems, have a registered Electrical Engineer on staff and must present evidence of professional design experience in the area of high voltage switchgear installment or replacement in a hospital setting. Specifications must be provided on 3 1/2'' floppy disks in Work Perfect 5.1 format and drawings must be provided on 3 1/2'' floppy disks in autocad release 12 format. Area of consideration - firms located within a 150 mile radius of Augusta, Georgia. Evaluation factors: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Demonstrated sucess in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design; and (7) Acceptability under other appropriate evaluation criteria.
