Data storage device that houses 2 cannisters, each containing a removable hard disk drive providing at least 300 megabytes of formatted storage capacity. b. Ability to remove & replace each or both cannisters with special hardware or tools. c. Incorporation & utilization of a Small Computer System Interface (ANSI X3.131-1986/199X) as the primary interface to the host computing system. d. Incorporation of an Automated Test Equipment (ATE) interface. e. Able to meet as a minimum, the requirements of MIL-STD-5400 Class 2 equipment, modified for 70,000 ft. altitude and shall operate without degradation in severe environmental conditions associated with carrier based aircraft.
