Weston, Inc., under the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Contract 68-W9-0022, requires the following services at an NPL site located in Farmingdale, Long Island, New York: installation of soil borings by a combination of drilling technologies (hollow stem auger, drivepoint push probe (geoprobe) or rotosonic), collection of groundwater samples by hydropunch or drivepoint sampling systems, and installation of confirmatory monitoring wells by hollow stem auger, rotosonic or cable tool drilling. Depth of investigation may be up to 250 feet below groundwater surface. Additional support services such as backhoe and operator for test pits and geophysical (gamma ray) logging of select boreholes required. Contractor must provide all labor and equipment to support multiple crews, expedited schedule, movement of drilling spoils to centralized staging area and be certified to work at NPL site in all OSHA required levels of personal protection. Contractor will be responsible for all and any licenses, certifications, permits, insurance, and bonding required by the State of New York and Federal Agencies.
