Z -- EXTERIOR CONCRETE SURFACE REPAIRS LAKE WASHINGTON SHIP CANAL SEATTLE WASHINGTON SOL DACW67-96-R-0011 DUE 010696 POC Contract Specialist Rose N Porcincula (206) 764-3653 (Site Code DACA67) The project consists of repair and restoration of exterior concrete surfaces on 12 historic concrete buildings at the Lake Washington Ship Canal as well as replacement of non-historic windows on one of the buildings. Work includes cleaning of all structures, excavation of deteriorated concrete and removal of previous non-matching concrete patches, sampling and testing of existing concrete, preparation of concrete mixtures and test panels to match existing concrete, cleaning and repair of deteriorated and exposed reinforcement, repair and restoration of deteriorated concrete areas with new concrete to match existing. Additional work on the Administration Building includes the replacement of 18 large non-historic aluminum windows with new wood windows to match the original, the removal of paint from metal window grilles, and the application of a concrete sealer to the parapet after repairs. Plans and specs available on or about 30 November 1995 at no charge per set. No individual sheets are available.
