Project consists of two phases of construction to allow for on-going occupancy and operation of the building. Each phase is approximately the same size and will encompass all four floors and the mechanical penthouse for each phase. Principal features of work include: general demolition including asbestos abatement; complete renovation including new partitions, doors, laboratory fixed casework, floors, ceilings, HVAC ductwork, fire sprinkler system, plumbing including laboratory gases, electrical distribution system, fire alarm, lighting, and built-up bituminous roofing. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Period of Performance is 760 calendar days. A Prebid Conference is tentatively scheduled for December 13, 1995.
