Qualified organizations capable of providing medical services (hospitalization, intensive care, emergency care, consultations, special diagnostic testing, etc) for Federal Offenders are sought. Organizations are requested to contact the Contracting Office listed in this notice. Requests for information must be in writing and include the solicitation (RFP) number, specific location of proposed medical facility, and name of contact person and telephone number. Contractor shall furnish facilities, equipment and personnel necessary for the medical care of Federal Offenders requiring medical services. Location of the facility shall be within a 35 mile radius of the correctional facility. Medical services and/or supply quantities that may be required cannot be assured. The anticipated approximate projection will be three (3) inpatients per month with an average length of stay estimated at six (6) to ten (10) days and thirty (30) outpatients or emergency room care patients per month. The estimated quantities for each option period are projected to increase by 10% over each prior period of performance. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or after November 27, 1995, and the estimated closing date is January 5, 1996. Contract period of performance will include a base period not to exceed twelve (12) months with four (4) one year option periods for renewal.
