K -- K059 MODIFICATION OF SDM-1 BOARDS AND ALBUS RECEIVER BOARDS POC Contracting Officer, Sherri L. Stein (301) 342-1546. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for four each of SDM-1 cards modification to include: adding a second PCM output which is buffered and is NRZ-L code. This output would utilize the spare channel as well as one of the spare resistors on RN3. This output would be used for TM and would be called TM PCM. Two pins on the 51 pin MDM connector would be utilized for this ; one for the PCM output and its DRTN. These pins are: pin #27 PCM 3 OUT (TM) and pin #28 DRTN. Adding a third PCM output which is buffered and has a programmable output code. The code selections would be NRZ-L, randomized NRZ-L, and BIO-L. This output would utilize one of the spare OR-gate channels and one of the spare resistors on RN3. This output would be used for test equipment and would be called PCM testpoint. Four pins on the 51 pin MDM connector would be utilized for this modification; two for the PCM output and its DRTN, and two for the additional code select lines (additional SEL OUT 1 and SEL OUT 2). These pins are: pin #23 PCM 2 OUT (GSE), pin #24 DRTN, pin #25 SEL PCM 2 OUT 1, pin #26 SEL PCM 2 OUT 2. In addition to above requirement there is a requirement for fourteen each of an Albus receiver boards modification from -504 to -501 version Loit time tag capability.
