Work consists of the following: Furnishing and installation of Tapered Roof Insulation, 4 ply hot modified bitumen asphalt built-up roofing, flashing, reworking roof drains and miscellaneous materials as follows: Building 480 complete tear off with asbestos abatement and replacement with 3 inch insulation (minimum) and tapered insulation. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction cost is $145,000. Estimated construction time is 10 weeks. Bid documents will be available on or about November 1, 1995. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $15 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ''Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability.
