S -- FOOD SERVICE SUPPORT TO INCLUDE DINING FACILITY ATTENDANTS, TROOP ISSUE SUPPORT ACTIVITY WAREHOUSING OPERATION AND ICE PROVISIONS Sol. DAKF04-95-R-0014. Due 012696. Contractor shall provide all resources, personnel and management necessary to perform Food Service Support, Troop Issue Subsistence Support and to provide Ice in Government furnished facilities at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. The contractor shall provide dining facility attendants to perform a variety of tasks in support of food preparation and serving activities at two dining facilities. The contractor shall operate the Troop Issue Support Unit with adequate personnel to perform a full range of warehousing operations which constitutes a complete warehousing operation to include stock control, issue and receipt of subsistence to rotational units. The contractor will also provide ice or an as needed basis and will be provided Government owned ice plant that will also be maintained by the contractor. It is the intention to award a firm fixed price/time and materials type contract resulting from this solicitation to a single responsive responsible contractor. Work will be performed on the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California (located approximately 40 miles northeast of Barstow, California). This proposed contract is subject to the regulations and guidelines of the Randolph-Sheppard Act. Therefore, the State Licensing Agency for blind vendors will be afforded paramount priority. If a State Licensing Agency's proposal is received and determined to be within the competitive range and ranked within the group of finalists in the evaluation process, a contract will be awarded based on priority in accordance with the Act.
