Tube, paper (10,000 ea w/100% option quantity) for MK 25-4 MLM in accordance with Drawing #1556AS302A. Tube shall be made from item 1, tightly and spirally wound. Angle of spiral shall be 45 +/- 15 degree. Layers shall be bonded together with a water resistant polyvinyl resin emultion with 43-44 percent solids with a weight figure of 9 pounds per gallon meeting item 2. Horizontal gaps between windings shall be 1/32 +/- 1/32. Tube shall withstand 20,000 +/- 2,000 lb dead load with a minimum dwell time of 3 seconds without any separation of layers. The option quantity is expected to be exercised if funding becomes available. All requests for solicitation must be in writing and may be faxed to (812) 854-3433. The government will require a written quotation. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The request for quotations will be issued approximately 15 days after publication of this notice.
