The United States Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific proposes to contract for A/C Condenser Tube Renewal for the USCGC POLAR SEA (WAGB 11). The Contractor will be required to remove 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B air conditioning (A/C) condenser units and renew the tube bundles. The A/C condenser shall be repaired in piecemeal fashion. The cutter must be left with the ability to operate at least one air conditioning unit to cool sensitive electronic equipment. After tube renewal, all A/C condensers shall be hydrostatically tested and reinstalled onboard the USCGC POLAR SEA (WAGB-11). The estimated date to issue the quotation will be 20 November 1995. The period of performance is 17 January 1995 through 31 January 1996. All eligible bidders will be considerred. (0296)
