The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occassions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-94-G-5141 with Martin Marietta Corporation, Government Electronic Systems, 199 Borton Landing Road, Moorestown, N.J. 08057. Orders will be issued for studies and analyses for the AEGIS Weapon System MK 7. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Martin Marietta Corporation is the developer and sole producer of the AEGIS Weapon System MK 7. It is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment necessary to perform the tasked described. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or service satisfy the Navy's requirements. Martin Marietta Corporation is the Navy's repair and overhaul depot for the AEGIS Weapon System MK 7.
