The DLT Library shall meet the following minimum specifications: shall support up to 20 GB (uncompressed) or more of data per DTL tape; shall have 4 magazines each capable of holding no less that 7 DLT 4000 tapes; total capacity per library shall be 560GB of uncompressed data; the DLT Library shall contain at least two (2) tape drives and the average cartridge access time shall be under 7 seconds; the Library shall be compatible with a SPARCcenter 2000 SCSI interface and include necessary cables; the library shall be compatible with commercially available library management software (such as SM-Arch from Software Moguls); the library search time shall not exceed 45 seconds; the library initialize time shall not exceed 45 seconds; the library sustained transfer rate shall not exceed 1.5MB/sec uncompressed; the library peak tranfer rate shall not exceed 5.0MB/sec; the library shall have at least 1,000,000 mean cycles expectancy for the library with 7000 hour MTBF; the library tape drives shall have at least 80,000 hour MTBF at a 7% duty cycle; the library shall be accompanied by a complete set of documentation covering operation/control, installation and maintenance. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA. This procurement will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
