The following Salient Characteristics/ Compatibility Requirements are provided for item (1): DataGuard Software NS700 Series 500/600, 9.0 GB Disk Drives w/Carrier to hold DataGuard Software (3 ea), 3.0 GB Disk Drives w/Carrier for Migration of DataGuard Software (3 ea), Disk Rack Assembly w/ 2' Cable (3 ea), and field installation of above. The following Salient Characteristics/Compatibility Requirements are provided for item (2): HOST PROCESSOR (HP7): SPARC 90MHz CPU w/ 32MB of memory expandable to 348 MB. 3 SBus slots, 1 SCSI-2, 2 RS-232 ports. Optional 155-Mb ATM SBus adapter supporting SC fiber connection. SPARC binary compatibility with AUSPEX Operationg system software, version 1.7 and beyond, ability to execute AUSPEX DataGuard continuous data service fault isolation software. Plug compatible with the AUSPEX host system 55MB/sec 14 slot VME Backplane. NETWORK PROCESSOR: Dual HyperSPARC 55MHz CPUs with 128 MB memory expandable to 256MB. Network interfaces for up to 2 FDDI/SAS/DAS- fiber or MLT3 twisted pair and up to 6 Ethernet-10BaseT twisted pair or a combination of FDDI and Ethernet. ECC memory protection. Support up to 4 Network Processors per host systems and the 4.3 BSD file System Standard. Plug-compatible with the AUSPEX host system 55MB/sec 14-slot VME Backplane. Full compatibility with AUSPEX Operating System software, version 1.7 and beyond, ability to execute AUSPEX DataGuard continuous data service fault isolation software. 9GB DISK DRIVES: Must be ''Hot pluggable'' with the existing 2GB and 3GB disk drives and their associated drive racks and cabling assemblies, including all control and data signal requirements.
