to be accomplished within the scope and intent of the specification
includes furnishing all plant labor, transportation, test equipment,
materials, parts, supplies, and supervision, as required for
inspection, preventive maintenance, annual boiler inspection, routine
repairs, and emergency service that is necessary for the continual
operation of the instrument systems of the boilers, water softeners and
de-alkalizers in Building 13. The scope of work also includes various
management tasks to be performed by the contractor. The proposed
contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for
small business (SB) concerns. Interested SB concerns should, as early
as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate
interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office
above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of
eligibility as a small business concern. If adequate interest is not
received from SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as
unrestricted, without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice
are requested from all qualified large business concerns as well as
from SB concerns. Contract period is from 01 February 1996 through 31
September 1996, with four additional option periods of one year each,
