Carney (Site Code W31XNJ) This work consists of drilling, Testing, and installing submersible pumps in two (2) 150-mm (6-inch) diameter water wells near Aramecina, Honduras. The water wells shall be designed and constructed to achieve the maximum yield with minimum drawdown. The desired yield for each well is 3 liters per second. Each well shall be drilled to the depth necessary to produce the desired yield, but not to exceed 100 meters. At the Contractor's option, the wells can be either ''rock wells'', ''naturally developed wells'', or ''gravel pack wells''; but the well type shall be appropriate for the geologic formations encountered. The wells shall be constructed by experienced drillers and be straight and plumb when completed. NOTE: Award will be made 15 days after appearance in CBD.
