The Navy Competition Advocate General, Long Range Acquisition Estimates (LRAE), listing projected Navy procurements for Fiscal Years (FYs) 1996-2000, is now available. This year's LRAE is being provided through an electronic bulletin board (it is no longer available in print). The bulletin board telephone number is (317) 306-3413. It is recommended that unless you are familiar with electronic bulletin boards you have a knowledgeable person assist you as each software system is different. Accessing the bulletin board requires a modem (baud rate is 2400 minimum, 14400 maximum) set at 8 data bits, 1 stop bit and no parity. It is recommended that you use a higher baud rate if you have it available. There is no access fee or pre-established password. At the password prompt, enter a password of your choosing, please remember this password for future access. Read the bulletins which provide information on using the bulletin board. The LRAE is comprised of 13 separate files. The files are available in text or dBASE III+ format. Mark and download some or all of the files depending on your needs.
