J -- F.S. MAINTENANCE OF MULTIGRAPHICS PRINTING EQUIPMENT SOL RFQ Y95-036 POC Kathy Turnquest, EG&G Florida, Inc., P. O. Box 21267, BOC-110, Kennedy Space Center, FL 32815, 407-867-7038. EG&G Florida, Inc. intends to Subcontract for the following services from Multigraphics Corporation on a sole source basis: Full Service Hardware Maintenance on the following Multigraphics Equipment: One (1) each Model 1360D 2400SA Platemaker, S/N 35058 and 35059, operated two (2) shifts, one (1) each Model 3850 Offset Press, Offset Presses, S/N's 415183 and 405753, operated two (2) shifts. The two (2) shift machines require one (1) inspection per month. All the machines are located in Room 134B or 1348A of the NASA Headquarters Building at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The Subcontractor is responsible for providing all maintenance ce/repair, including labor, parts and such other incidentals as may be necessary to keep the equipment in good operating condition. The Subcontractor will provide normal maintenance and inspections during the hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The maximum time required between a call and the apperance of repair personnel at site will not exceed two (2) hours during normal business hours. The Subcontractor will also, upon request, provide personnel on standby for service at night and on weekends and holidays. The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any other source(s) exist, therefore, no RFQ is available. Interested firms are invited to submit a response within fifteen (15) calandar days after data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement. Notice will be used to determine whether competition exists and documentation/tech. specs., prices, etc. are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this synopsis, an order will be placed with multigraphics Corporation.
