Correction: This contracting action was originally publicized in the CBD on July 20, 1995, Issue No. PSA-1392, for an indefinite delivery contract to provide research services in the area of prehistoric and historic archaeology. An additional area of research services has been added to the solicitation requirements. In addition to the research services listed in the original advertisement, research services in the area of Native American Coordination and Consultation will be required. Examples of work in this research service include, but are not limited to: 1) determining the cultural affiliation or lineal descendants of Native American human remains and associated cultural objects discovered on military lands, 2) determine the ethnic and tribal affiliations of Native American peoples who may have traditional ties to cultural resources on military lands, 3) contact and consultation of Native American peoples including tribal governments and traditional elders, 4) coordination and facilitation of consultation required by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
