Dunham, (415)604-5523, Contracting Officer, Beatrice Morales, (415)604-2074 Basic Research Opportunities: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is interested in receiving basic research proposals for a) analysis of data recently obtained with the Kuiper Airborne Observatory, and b) study of scientific instru ment concepts for the Strastopheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA). This solicitation is open to all categories of organizations, both domestic and and foreign: industry, educational institutions, other nonprofit organizations, NASA centers and other government agencies. This Announcement will be open for the period through December 20, 1995. Proposals may be submitted at any time during the period from NRA release through December 20, 1995. Proposals received after this date will be returned to the sender, unless the selection official determines it to offer NASA a significant technical advantage or cost reduction, while those received before this date will be evaluated by a scientific peer review during January 1996.
