This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542, general contractors - non-residential buildings, other than industrial buildings and warehouses. The work includes the repair and rehabilitation of Wing 3 at Bancroft Hall, including removal of hazardous materials, interior demolition including mechanical and electrical systems, the removal of existing aluminum windows, and the removal of existing slate and copper roofs; new work includes interior partitions and finishes, dormitory casework, ceilings, windows, exterior stone cleaning and repair, slate and copper roofs, and mechanical and electrical equipment; and incidental related work. The time for competition is NLT 1 August 1997. Competitive negotiation procedures will apply. Contractors will be required to submit technical and cost proposals. The following technical criteria will be required: (1) Relevant Experience/Past Performance; (2) Schedule Management & Control; (3) Corporate Management; and (4) Selected Subcontractors.
