Commission, Washington, DC 20507 has a requirement for the services of
an expert Ergonomist. The expert must have professional training in
analyzing jobs to determine biomechanical and other risk factors (such
as force, posture and repetition) for cumulative trauma disorder. The
expert must have professional training in human capabilities
associated with repetitive work. The expert should have experience in
developing alternative methods to perform essential functions that
would reduce the risk factors for cumulative trauma disorder. As
demonstrated by prior experience, the expert must be familiar with: 1.
Participating in litigation as an expert including qualifying as an
expert and testifying at trial; 2. Assisting attorneys in preparation
of cross-examination of opposing experts; 3. Attending depositions; 4.
Being deposed; 5. Preparing exhibits and reports in preparation for
trial; and 6. Examining the reports of deposing experts. Also, the
expert must be available to attend discovery depositions, meet with the
EEOC trial attorneys in the Chicago District Office, be present at
trial, and testify at trial. In addition, the expert must be available
to conduct an on-site inspection of the Defendant's facility. The
period of performance for the basic contract shall be from the
effective date of contract award through twelve (12) months with four
(4) one year options. Telephone request for this solicitation will not

first received, first served basis until the supply is exhausted. All
