SWARTZ, (215)697-9698 The Fleet Industrial Support Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure Engineering and Technical Support Services to provide support for Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) systems, equipment, programs, and products for the Naval Oceanographic Office located at the Stennis Space Center, MS. The services will include effort in the following areas:(1) Program management; 2) System design; 3) System test and evaluation; 4) Integrated logistics support; 4) Site and platform integration; 5) Facilities; 6) Systems Operations; 7) Systems maintenance; 8)Customized support services; and 9) Security analysis. The successful offeror is required to maintain a liaison office within a two-hour commuting distance of the Stennis Space Center, MS. A indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with fixed price delivery orders is anticipated. This procurement is being conducted on an unrestricted, full and open competition basis. The anticipated contract will consist of a base year plus four one-year options, with an estimated 38,400 man-hours per year.
