The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for a Ti:Sapphire Regenerative Amplifier as follows: kHz repetition rate, mJ pulse energy Ti:Sapphire Regenerative Amplifier and pump laser for amplifying pulses from a Ti:Sapphire femtosecond oscillator. Specifically, a pulse stretcher/compressor, Ti:Sapphire regenerative amplifier capable of polarization modulation pulse seeding and ejection, including an optical isolator, and an appropriate pump laser, e.g., intracavity doubled Nd:YLF Q-switched laser.
