Solicitation is a requirements project for road construction within the boundaries of the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site (SRS), near New Ellenton, SC. Work shall include approximately four miles of new construction and four to five miles of major reconstruction of graveled secondary roads. This work shall include, but is not limited to, activities on new and existing roads for the following items: clearing and grubbing of roadway, excavation, embankment and compaction, removal and installation of culverts, hauling borrow, surfacing and resurfacing of aggregate roads, installation of geotextile fabric, placement of rip-rap, turf establishment, erosion control and earthwork for facility, soil, water and air support. SRS is a restricted access Government facility and all persons entering SRS must be U.S. citizens. This is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside procurement. (275)
